This is the perfect opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have, and for you to learn more about the treatment process. Your dentist will perform a thorough examination before providing you with a bespoke plan.
Stage 2 - TreatmentVeneers are usually fitted in two trips to the practice.
In your first appointment, the dentist will prepare the tooth under anaesthetic ready for the veneer to be fitted in your next visit. A temporary veneer will be placed whilst you wait for your veneer to be crafted in the dental laboratory.
During your next visit, your bespoke veneer designed especially for your smile, will be carefully fitted.
Anybody with good oral health can be considered for veneers.
Whilst veneers are not permanent, they are long lasting – approximately 10-15 years. Your dentist will offer advice on how to best care for your veneers to ensure they last as long as possible.
Veneers do not stain, but we recommend regular visits to the hygienist to avoid discolouration of the surrounding natural teeth. Teeth whitening is also available for natural teeth.
